What You Must Know About ObamaCare

This HypoGal blog post highlights the ObamaCare Bill a.k.a. Affordable Care Act, PPACA

Denied Health Insurance? This use to be the header on this page.

However, as our society works to improve healthcare the HypoGal Denied Health Insurance contents needs to be changed and updated.

The Denied Health Insurance has a new title and contents have been updated to: What You Must Know About ObamaCare

The ObamaCare Bill also known as the The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) is America’s new health care reform law.

The law was created to ensure more United States Citizens would have access to affordable and quality healthcare.

As I try to educate myself on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act I believe the following information may be useful:

Your health insurance is grandfathered in if you purchased your policy prior to March 23, 2010.

The insurance program covers the cost of most preventive care medical services.

You cannot be denied insurance if you have a pre-existing condition.

If you have Medicare and are in a higher tax bracket you may have to pay a small additional fee for your Medicare.

However, you are allowed to keep your same Medicare health insurance.

There are three ways to purchase health insurance:

Contact an Insurer to buy and compare health plans.

Speak to a Broker to buy and compare health plans.

Using your State’s Health Insurance Marketplace to buy and company.

I feel that some type of healthcare reform is necessary.

However, the layers of understanding the new health care law remind me of a detailed tax return. I am in favor of the HypoGal KISS Health Reform Act.

The HypoGal KISS Act- Stands for: Keep It Simple Simple.

I am similar to many of my friends who do not understand the complexity of the ObamaCare Bill.

I like to try to keep life simple. I would much prefer some form of flat tax on all good or services. Everyone would contribute and everyone would receive

Everyone would contribute and everyone would receive health care.

If you have any ideas on how to improve our healthcare system, please give a shout out.

Voices are always louder in number.

Hopefully, in the near future, we will all be able, to say our healthcare system runs with a KISS.
